Grape variety: 100% Fiano di Avellino

Production area: South-facing hillside vineyards in the municipality of Lapio.

Soil type: Clay limestone on a base of marble

Vinification: Grapes are harvested by hand at full ripeness, undergo a strict selection and are pressed whole. Cold settling is followed by alcoholic fermentation, initially in French oak barriques and concluding in stainless steel at low temperatures. The wine is aged in wood and steel followed by a minimum of six months’ bottle ageing before release.

Tasting note
Colour: Crystalline, straw yellow with golden, luminous reflections.Aroma: Aromas of mature and tropical fruits, with notes of minerality, hawthorn flowers and candied fruit and a touch of toast. Taste : Elegant and full on the palate with good, balancing acidity. Very persistent, spicy finish.

Food pairing: This is a very versatile wine, equally well-suited to regional and international foods. Great with soups, fatty fish, vegetables, risotto, white meats and fresh cheeses, as well as aromatic dishes. Best served at a temperature of 12-14°C.
