
SAN SERINO
IRPINIA ROSSO DOC
Sanserino is the result of the vinification of Aglianico and Sangiovese grapes, grown in our vineyards. It is a red wine, light, has well-balanced acidity and aromatic to drink slightly fresh.

Grape varieties: 70% Aglianico, 30% Sangiovese.
Production area: Vineyards owned in the hilly area extended over the municipalities of Luogosano, S. Angelo all’Esca and Taurasi, at 300 m above sea level.
Type of soil: Silty and sandy soil and frequent presence of limestone and volcanic elements.
Vinification: The hand-picked grapes are destemmed and then macerated at low temperature for a few hours. This is followed by a maceration on the skins for a week and an aging of at least 16 months in cement tanks.
Finally, it ages at least 4 months in bottle.
Organoleptic characteristics
Color: Ruby red of good brightness.
Bouquet: Attractive with hints of violet and strong aromas of black cherry and blackberries, it closes on notes of aromatic herbs.
Taste: The taste is soft with a pleasant note of red berry fruit, balanced and with a fruity and savory finish slightly balsamic.
Food pairings: Wine to pair with appetizers of cold cuts and cheeses, first courses based on light sauces, roasted or grilled meat, vegetarian dishes seasoned with tasty sauces, delicately spicy vegetables. Serve at a temperature of 12-14°C.
Longevity: 20 YEARS
