The Harvest Season Experience

from 23 August to 20 October 2024 - From Wednesday to Sunday

We will welcome you in the cellar, get dressed and head towards the vineyards. On the day, it will be possible to do the traditional “pressing with your feet”.

The Event

Live a fantastic experience!

We are waiting for you at the estate to participate or witness our harvest.

You will be able to taste the grapes before harvesting them and pressing them with your feet, as was done in the past.

Walking among our vineyards and centuries-old olive groves, you will be able to listen to the explanation of our territory.

By visiting the cellar, you will be able to learn about the winemaking processes. In the vineyard, a toast awaits you with our “Oro Spumante” and our rosé doc Vela Vento Vulcano. 13.00 Lunch at La Veduta, the Estate’s Restaurant, with a Four course Menu Contadino with Tenuta Cavalier Pepe wine tasting

Morning

Arrive at the Winery For a welcome breakfast with fruit juice, bottle of water, coffee and snack. Free parking available at the winery and restaurant.

11:00

We will begin the tour with an illustration of our territory and an explanation of all the phases of the vine cycle with the owner Milena Pepe and/or the company’s technical staff.
This will be followed by the “Dressing” and the departure for the vineyards, where you can witness and/or participate in the harvest and tasting of the grapes.
We will walk among vineyards and centuries-old olive groves and we will present you the wines for tasting during the day. We will arrive on the crest of the hill for the “Pressing with the feet” in wooden vats, as it was done in ancient times. “Toast in the vineyard” with our “Oro Spumante” and our DOC rosé “Vela Vento Vulcano” accompanied by typical Irpinia rustici.

Lunch at La Veduta, the Estate’s Restaurant, with a Four course Menu Contadino with Tenuta Cavalier Pepe wine tasting to include:

Enjoy a tour of our winery facilities with explanations of the vinification process.

Second Course

Pork Cooked at Low Temperature with Taurasi Reduction Baked potatoes.

Dessert

Ricotta and Walnuts Covered in Chocolate.

There are menus for children and for special dietary needs. Special diets can be accommodated; please request at the time of reservation.

During lunch, they will also enjoy a blind tasting workshop where they will guess and discover flavors by tasting jams and marmalade.
